My notes, I hope they help you, feel free to comment/add to them

Home Automation

I am working on setting up Home Automation and a lot of people call it Smart Home, but I don’t like that, just like calling Machine Learning AI.

Half of the reason for this is just to document what I have now.

Now after saying that, I am going to list my current Home Automation device (and I didn’t pick their names)
SmartThings v2 hub
SmartThings Outlet
2 SmartThings Multi Sensors
3 SmartThings Motion Sensors
3 Monoprice Z-Wave Contact Sensors
Legacy Wired Alarm system with 2 bells (indoor and out), 17 contact sensors (1 pair wire) and 3 2 pair wires (motion sensor, panel and still figuring out)
Konnected Alarm Board
2 Konnected Add-On boards (would have preferred Alarm Board)
Nest Thermostat 3rd Gen
Nest Thermostat E
Nest Hello
3 Reolink RLC-410W Cameras
1 Reolink RLC-410 Camera
zmodo Camera
Samsung TV
Denon Receiver
TP Link Switch
4 Sylvania Smart Zigbee Plug
8 Smart light bulbs (only 4 installed right now)
Alexa
Sprinkler system
Google Home (need to add announcements)
Samsung PowerBOT vacuum

Things I have and need device handlers to add:
Firewall (temp sensors)
AP (Presence+Temp)

Want to find a way to add:
Pool Pump, Temp and Light
Water Consumption info
Flood Sensor
Electrical Consumption

Want to buy:
Whole House Fan
Solar Heater for Pool
Ceiling Fan Control
